Mendo Clothing is an independent clothing company started in the hills of Mendocino County in northern California.  We are based out of Mendocino and Maui, Hawaii in the town of Haiku near the world famous Kite Beach and the Legendary big waves of Jaws.  Both locations are perfect for R&D.  Mendocino provides everything from cold water surfing and kiting to great mountain biking, some good skateparks and a quick drive to Tahoe for snowboarding.   Maui and Hawaii in general on the other hand covers all of our warm water activities.  Surfing, Kiteboarding, tow surfing, and stand up paddling just to name a few.  By using what we have learned from both of these locations and the input of  world class athletes that put our clothes thru the most rigorous testing possible.  From 40ft kite loops to towing 50ft jaws, we have perfected the technical clothing needed to last in an extreme lifestyle.  We are also committed to protecting the environment.  As much as possible we are using organic and recycled materials, biodegradable packaging and local manufacturing in order to leave the smallest footprint possible.  We believe that no matter how much fun we have it is all negated if we don’t leave the world as a better place for our children in the future.
